BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – CJ Tonozzi of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center has successfully completed the requirements for recognition as a Certified Patient Accounts Technician (CPAT).

CPAT is a professional certification administered by the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM). This certification includes an examination covering areas such as: patient access, third party billing and credit and collection law.

Tonozzi was appointed as manager of Patient Accounts at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in December of 2008. Previously, he had served as collections supervisor. Tonozzi is also an active member with the Illinois chapter of AAHAM.
