Gastric Bypass Support Group
The Gastric Bypass Support Group is for pre- and post-gastric bypass patients and/or anyone interested in finding out more information about gastric bypass surgery. Anyone is welcome to attend. The group meets in Conference Room 4A. For more information on dates and times, contact the Education Department at 344-3161 ext 4190.
Joint Care Seminar
OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Center for Joint Camp purpose is to educate the public on the most common causes and treatment for knee and hip pain. Joint Camp Seminars meet once a month in the Rehabilitation Department. For more information on dates and times, call 309-344-9402.
Lamaze Classes
Lamaze Prepared Childbirth helps you to achieve a more comfortable and satisfying birthing experience. Taught by ICEA certified instructors, the classes meet weekly for five weeks. We recommend Lamaze be taken 8 to 12 weeks prior to your anticipated delivery date. For those who are unable to attend the weekly classes,for one day, Saturday classes classes are available. SHIP Clinic - Health Insurance Assistance
SHIP stands for the Senior Health Insurance Program. It is offered as a benefit for those who may need help sorting out health care bills, explaining benefits or general assistance with health insurance. Sibling Class
Do you have a child who is going to be a big brother or sister? Enroll your child in this 1 and 1/2 hour class that teaches them how to be careful around their new sibling, and what they can do to be a big helping hand around the house. Call 309-344-9402 to register.
Stroke Support Group
OSF St. Mary Medical Center Rehabilitative Services department has begun a newly formed Stroke Support Group for stroke survivors and other interested persons. This group will meet in the Rehabilitation Services conference room, a light lunch will be served so reservations are requested at (309)344-9600.
