(Galesburg, Illinois) – OSF St. Mary Medical Center is pleased to announce the recipients of the annual Auxiliary Scholarships. Eleven individuals received scholarships from the OSF St. Mary Medical Center Auxiliary. The funds for this years scholarships totaled $7,500 which are generated through fund-raising efforts, gift shop revenue and memorials made to the Auxiliary.

Each scholarship applicant is evaluated based on need and eligibility. Applications are available through the Volunteer Office and are awarded to students entering a healthcare major. Applications were due by May 1st and the applicant must re-apply every year and provide transcripts as proof that they are continuing a healthcare major. There is a maximum amount that each recipient can receive over a 4-year period. Upon completion of school, if a position is available at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, the recipient is required to work at the hospital for a minimum of 2 years.

OSF St. Mary Medical Center and the Auxiliary would like to congratulate all of this year’s scholarship winners.
